Dateline: BANJA LUKA, Bosnia-Herzegovina NATO-led troops Thursday arrested a Serb war crimes suspect wanted by the U.N. war crimes tribunal for atrocities committed during the Bosnian war.

Darko Mrdja was arrested in the northwestern Bosnian town of Prijedor, and was being transferred to The Hague, Netherlands, where he is to face trial, NATO Secretary General George Robertson said in a statement.

No one was injured during the arrest, Robertson said.

"Today's detention should serve as a warning. There is no place to hide for anyone accused by the tribunal of these horrific crimes," Robertson said.
