Dateline: SPACE CENTER, Houston Wind, clouds and showers around its landing site in Florida canceled space shuttle Endeavour's first attempt to return to Earth on Monday.

Endeavour is bringing back the international space station's former crew of American astronauts Carl Walz and Daniel Bursch and their Russian commander, Yuri Onufrienko, who have been in orbit for more than six months.

"We're still looking at the weather. We're going to officially wave off this first attempt," Mission Control told the shuttle crew.
