Some books quickly end up in the remainder section; others say popular
for decades. In the latter category is a book that was read by the
founder of the Boy Scouts, explorers to the South Pole, Central Asia
experts and CIA agents. Even Mark Twain said he read it at least twice
a year. The book is "Kim" by Rudyard Kipling. First published in
1901, the novel has never been out of print and small wonder. "Kim"
