FREEPORT-- Quahog Bay is remote and beautiful, but has some of the same water-quality problems as Portland Harbor. Willard Beach is the coldest place to dip your toes in Casco Bay. And the clearest water can be found at Halfway Rock. These and other intriguing bits of information popped up in a new analysis of water quality in Casco Bay that was presented Wednesday at "The State of the Bay," a biennial conference sponsored by the Casco Bay Estuary Project.
