PETALING JAYA, Fri. - In an effort to promote and protect the rights
of children, Malaysians are invited to take part in the Asian chapter
of the global march against child labour, to be held next week.
Organised by the Malaysian Trade Union Congress and the National Task
Force of Working Children in Malaysia, the march would be held on Feb
17, beginning from the Co-operative College in Jalan Templer and
ending at the Transport Workers Union headquarters in Jalan Barat.
Besides the march, a public forum and an exhibition on child labour in
the world would also be held at TWU on the same day.
