(Daily Texan) (U-WIRE) AUSTIN, Texas -- Shhh, you can't say that. No,
not the V-word. This weekend, women and men all over Austin will
be gathering at the Paramount Theatre to hear women openly utter the
forbidden word and talk about their vaginas.
Playwright, activist and feminist Eve Ensler has unveiled the once-
taboo topic in her brilliantly candid play, "The Vagina Monologues,
" which opened Tuesday night.
The three-woman show includes Broadway and TV actress Glynis Bell,
"Another World" star Rhonda Ross with guest artist Kim Fields, made
famous by her role as the rambunctious Toodie on the '80s sitcom,
"The Facts of Life."
