Awami League legislators who joined the parliament session on Monday
last after long eight months have decided not to be associated with
the
passage of the budget for the fiscal year 2002-2003.
The budget placed before the House by Finance Minister M Saifur Rahman
on June 6, is scheduled to be passed on Sunday, June 30.
After taking part in the budget discussion for three consecutive
days,
Awami League did not turn up in the House yesterday alleging that
they
were not allowed enough time.
At the end of a parliamentary party meeting yesterday morning, Awami
League chief and the Leader of the Opposition Sheikh Hasina told the
