NSW: Ryans speak of marriage and depression ahead of book launch
SYDNEY, July 1 AAP - Former NSW police commissioner Peter Ryan
was so consumed with
daily criticism of his work, he was awful to be around and had forgotten
how to laugh,
his wife said today.
Publicising a new biography, Peter Ryan: The Inside Story, Mr Ryan
and his wife, Adrienne,
spoke frankly about their marriage and Mr Ryan's depression.
Mrs Ryan, who recently joined the Liberal Party, said their children
would be asked
by school friends how much their father earned.
