NEW YORK (AP) _ Stocks that were moving substantially or trading heavily
on Friday on the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Stock Market.

Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co., up $1.57 to $17.97
The company, which owns the A&P grocery chain, filed a report with
the Securities and Exchange Commission that revised financial statements
for fiscal years 1999 and 2000 and adjusted results for fiscal year
2001.
Qwest, up 10 cents to $1.80
The Wall Street Journal, quoting unidentified sources, said that the
Justice Department has launched a criminal investigation. Qwest already
faces scrutiny from the Securities and Exchange Commission into how
it booked revenue ...
