Fed: Prosecutor says war criminals in Australia

CANBERRA, July 11 AAP - War criminals from Cambodia, East Timor and the former Yugoslavia are living in Australia, the deputy prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal said today.

"There's plenty of evidence that there are in fact war criminals living in Australia from different theatres, including Cambodia and East Timor, certainly Yugoslavia as well,"

deputy prosecutor Graham Blewitt told ABC radio.

"The victims of these crimes are also living in Australia, they' ve identified the perpetrators and yet these guys are just walking around free."

The only war crimes law in Australia ...
