Telecom Equipment: Huawei Aims to be Top Three in Russia
CHINA, Jul 18, 2002 (AsiaPort via COMTEX) -- Huawei Technologies aims
to becomethe third largest telecom equipment supplier in Russia in
two tothree years, said a senior company official.
The Shenzhen-based telecom equipment maker, which has establisheda
joint venture in Russia, ranks among Russia's five largesttelecom
equipment suppliers at present, said Wang Kexiang,vice-president of
the firm's Common Independent States region.
Huawei's sales in Russia reached US$110 million last year andhave
already topped that amount in the first half of this year,company
statistics show.
