ENGLEWOOD - There were moments when this week's City Council meeting
had the look and sound of those held a year ago - -a season of contentious
public debate over a failed $500 million redevelopment plan.
In a room with several dozen people, and over one resident's shouted
rebukes, council members voted 3-1 Tuesday night to switch the zoning
on 44 acres of industrial properties near the border with Leonia.
