Dateline: KINSHASA, Congo A spokesman for some of the thousands of Rwandan Hutu militia fighters sheltering in Congo said Wednesday they were not willing to return home to Rwanda _ which is exactly what a new Congo peace deal demands.

The foreign fighters, suspects in Rwanda's 1994 genocide, fear charges could be brought against them and say they doubt Rwandan pledges of fair treatment.

"We are ready to face justice, but we do not trust the Rwandan justice, " militia spokesman Christophe Hakizabera told The Associated Press in the Congo capital, Kinshasa.
