Fed: Dems break ultimatum and give Murray two days' grace

CANBERRA, Aug 4 AAP - The Australian Democrats today broke their
own ultimatum to Democrat-in-exile
Andrew Murray and gave him an extra two days to consider his future.
Leader Natasha Stott Despoja said the party wanted to be as flexible
as possible by
giving Senator Murray more time to decide whether to stay with the
Democrats.
She was backed by party founder Don Chipp who said Senator Murray
had to make up his
mind rather than sitting outside the party room.
But the government turned up the heat on Senator Stott Despoja,
saying the Democrats
had gone backwards since she became ...
