Jay Delsing made a birdie on the 18th hole of the Buy.com Tour Omaha
Classic on Sunday to clinch his second professional victory.
By making the 6-foot (1.8-meter) putt, Delsing finished with a 4-under
par 68 and was 21 under for the tournament. He also avoided a playoff
with Anthony Painter, who made a late charge and tied Delsing at 20
under with a birdie on the 17th.
Chip Beck, down seven strokes after the fifth hole, rallied to finish
third at 19 under on a steamy afternoon.
Delsing started the tournament with a 66 at the par-72, 7,034-yard
(6,401-meter) course at the Champions Club. He added rounds of 66
and 67 before clinching it Sunday. ...
