Fed: Some good comes out of Democrats brawl says Murray

CANBERRA, Aug 7 AAP - Some good had come out of the brawl within
the Australian Democrats
because it had exposed the workings of the party machinery, rebel
Senator Andrew Murray
said today.
A defiant Senator Murray has refused to come in from a self-imposed
exile in a direct
challenge to the leadership of Natasha Stott Despoja.
The WA senator stepped down to the backbench following the resignation
of former Democrats
leader Meg Lees, who quit the party a fortnight ago.
Senator Murray believed Senator Lees was hounded out after she
came under scrutiny
from the Democrats national ...
