ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (AP) _ A Christian school attacked last week by Islamic militants in Pakistan has closed its doors for the rest of the year, the school board announced.

The decision, posted on the Murree Christian School's Web site, comes at a time when Western governments are urging their nationals to leave Pakistan amid fears of a renewed wave of terrorism.

Authorities believe the extremists are targeting Christians and Westerners in Pakistan in retaliation for the government's support for the U.S.- led war on terrorism.
