(Daily Trojan) (U-WIRE) LOS ANGELES -- The USC men's volleyball team will get a chance to avenge its five-game non-conference loss earlier this season to Cal State Northridge when it takes on the Matadors again in North Gym at 7 p.m. tonight.

The Trojans (3-9 overall, 1-8 in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation) are coming off a 15-12, 15-2, 12-15, 16-14 victory against La Verne on Thursday. The win snapped a four-match losing streak for USC.

"We served really well," USC Head Coach Pat Powers said. "The bad news is we let up.... We had a huge 13-4 lead (in game four), and them we let them back in."
