(Daily O'Collegian) (U-WIRE) STILLWATER, Okla. -- A recent health premium increase has a committee from Oklahoma State University looking for alternative health care systems for faculty and staff.

The Faculty Council has set up a committee to research health care alternatives for faculty and staff. The committee wants to research the health care plan the University of Oklahoma offers its employees. Nick Kelly, benefits manager of OU, said the university offers a choice of three plans to employees.

"We have our own self-insured health care plan with three options, " Kelly said.

The plans vary in deductibles and co-pays as well as the health care provider.
