Monday, September 2, 2002 -- The IDF's failure to inform the Foreign Ministry of its botched targeted killing in Tubas on Saturday that killed four Palestinian youths resulted in a public relations blunder, Foreign Ministry officials said yesterday.

Foreign Ministry officials said they first heard of the incident from the foreign press, and were limited in their ability to explain the mishap because they did not receive necessary information from the IDF.
