KUALA LUMPUR, Tues. - Former director of the Consumer Affairs and
Domestic Trade Ministry's Federal Territory enforcement division
Badrul Ahmad told the High Court today that he received an anonymous
telephone call asking him not to interfere in the affairs of a direct
selling company.
Badrul, now the principal assistant director of the enforcement
division at the Consumer Affairs and Domestic Trade Ministry, said
the caller harassed him and told him not to initiate any court
proceedings against Nanang International Sdn Bhd for operating with
an expired licence.
