Air Canada to begin flights to Israel: Air Canada, which until now has not flown to Israel, is to begin flights this summer, the Tourism Ministry announced yesterday. Tourism Minister Uzi Baram welcomed the move and said the entry of Sunquest, which is to organize charter flights from Canada to here, had undoubtedly hastened Air Canada's decision to enter the market.
Darcom merges with Adir: Telecom provider Darcom has merged with international telecommunications provider Adir, a subsidiary of Idan Software Industries. Idan is a subsidiary of Elitec Industries, which is traded on the TASE. The new company will be called Adir-Darcom.
