Former Australian test player and coach Geoff Marsh wants Australia
and England to play their World Cup cricket matches in Zimbabwe next
year, saying it remains a "very safe" venue.
Australia canceled a tour of Zimbabwe earlier this year amid security
fears due to clashes between white farmers and governing party militants.
The British and Australian governments have warned their citizens
not to travel to Zimbabwe.
But Marsh, who has been Zimbabwe's coach for one year, endorsed Zimbabwe
as one of the hosts of the World Cup.
The World Cup will be played in February-March in South Africa, Zimbabwe
and Kenya.
