One good thing to learn if you're to become a great musician is to
be humble. Bill Frisell is one of America's great guitarists. His
style is closer to jazz than anything else, but he says a chance meeting
recently put him in touch with a style of music he loves, but doesn'
t usually play: old-timey American music, and it led to his new CD
