SECRET Recipe Cakes & Cafe Sdn Bhd, a home-grown cafe-cum-bakery,
is
eyeing the South-East Asian market for its expansion soon.
Its executive director Steven Sim said Secret Recipe will open an
outlet in Jakarta next year, while 2004 will see Secret Recipe in
Manila
and Bangkok .
The company plans to penetrate China by 2005 when the market there
is
ready for Secret Recipe's cafe concept.
"Secret Recipe's outlets in the region will be located in capital
cities and at `happening places' like shopping centers. In every country
where we open an outlet, we will establish a central kitchen to supply
cakes and food to Secret Recipe outlets," he told Business Times ...
