As Foreign Secretary Jack Straw prepared to travel to Iran, a group
of protesters at home urged him Tuesday not to ignore human rights
abuses there.
Lord Corbett, who heads the group Iran Freedom, said British engagement
with Iran must depend on the Middle Eastern nation's government demonstrating
greater respect for human rights.
Straw is stopping in Iran Wednesday as he tours the Middle East seeking
support for Britain's and America's tough stance against Iraq.
