Fed: South African High Commission appeals to immigration dept
SYDNEY, Oct 31 AAP - The South African High Commission today appealed
to Australian
immigration officials to properly investigate allegations of a visa
racket using South
African slave labour.
Representatives from the High Commission met with immigration officials
yesterday to
raise concern about an illegal labour racket in Australia.
The claims came after the treatment of South African worker Oagiles
Malothone, who
was injured in a tower collapse in outback NSW last week.
