Dateline: TOKYO Trey Hillman doesn't expect to change Japanese baseball, he just expects to win.

The 39-year-old Hillman, who was formally introduced as the new manager of the Nippon Ham Fighters on Tuesday, said he is taking a realistic approach to his new job with the Pacific League team.

"I'm not coming over here to rewrite the game," Hillman told reporters at a Tokyo hotel. "One of the things I've learned over the years is you have to adapt and adjust to the strengths that your players have."
