FORT DIX, N.J. (Army News Service, Nov. 6, 2002) - More than 200
special operations reservists traveled to Fort Dix, N.J., Oct. 19
to participate
in Roaring Lion I, a field training exercise that provided realistic
scenarios
for civil affairs training.
Designed to test real-world skills such as humanitarian assistance
and
civil-military planning, Roaring Lion I included elements from the
304th
Civil Affairs Brigade in Philadelphia, the 411th Civil Affairs Battalion,
Danbury, Conn., and the 443rd Civil Affairs Battalion, Warwick, R.I.,
coming
together for the seven-day exercise.
