The first deluxe hotel on the southern tourist island of Koh Samui

renovating to keep pace with tourism that has run ahead of infrastructure
development, and to compete with several soon-to-be-developed first-
class

When the late visionary hotelier Arkorn Hoontrakool founded the
Imperial Samui, the first deluxe hotel on Koh Samui, he did not envision
the infrastructure mess his beautiful four-star resort would face.
