The International Herald Tribune and Rizzoli-Corriere della Sera Editori, an Italian publishing group, have agreed to publish a daily supplement of Italian news in English that will be combined with the Herald Tribune for distribution in Italy.

The joint venture will be announced Monday by the Herald Tribune's chairman and chief executive officer, Peter C. Goldmark Jr., and the chief executive officer of RCS, Claudio Calabi.

The combined newspaper, to be launched within the next few months, will include the Herald Tribune's coverage of international politics, business, culture and sports and provide a closer look at the news in Italy in a supplement ...
