BALI, Indonesia (AP) _ Senior officials defended Indonesia's investigation into the Bali bombing Thursday and said that the government is serious about stamping out terrorism.

Cabinet ministers, police officials and Taufik Kiemas _ the businessman husband of President Megawati Sukarnoputri _ appeared before foreign correspondents and said the probe into the Oct. 12 blasts that killed more than 190 people was moving forward professionally.

"I think her (Megawati's) policy is very clear," said State Enterprises Minister Laksamana Sukardi. "She's not going to give any chances to the terrorists."
