Fed: Howard says agriculture main point in US trade talks

Prime Minister JOHN HOWARD says the proposed free trade deal with the United States will fail unless the US makes concessions on agriculture.

But Mr HOWARD says both countries are committed to negotiating a successful deal, after agreeing yesterday to start talks on a Free Trade Agreement early next year.
