DETROIT (AP) _ Sergei Fedorov's scored his NHL-record 12th overtime
goal at 4:39 of the extra session Friday night to lift the Detroit
Red Wings to a 2-1 victory over the Anaheim Mighty Ducks.
The goal, Fedorov's 11th of the season, was also his league-leading,
sixth game-winning goal this season.
Fedorov's slap shot from the high slot beat Jean-Sebastien Giguere,
who made 43 saves. He had been tied with three other players with
11 regular-season overtime goals.
Brett Hull tied it 1-1 for Detroit 5:32 into the third period when
he put a one-timer into an empty net from the bottom of the right
