(Daily Northwestern) (U-WIRE) EVANSTON, Ill. -- This weather phenomenon has taken the blame for the unusual weather patterns this year, but allergy sufferers are now blaming El Nio for their early allergy symptoms, too. El Nio has brought an early spring to much of the country, and with this warm weather it also brings the enemies of allergy sufferers' noses: pollen and mold.
This has made enjoying the warm weather difficult for some NU students.
"I'm always sneezing, congested and generally pissed off in the morning," said Allison Farnum, a Speech sophomore and allergy sufferer.
