FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE November 19, 2002 Manzullo to Host Thursday Hearing Exploring Federal Prison Industries' Competition with Small Businesses in America (WASHINGTON) House Small Business Committee Chairman Don Manzullo (R-IL) will hold a full committee hearing Thursday, November 21, to explore the competitive relationship between Federal Prison Industries (FPI) and America's small businesses. The hearing will begin at 10:30 a.m. in Room 2360 Rayburn House Office Building. The hearing will provide an opportunity for small business owners to express their views concerning the unfair advantage enjoyed by FPI in the federal procurement process.
