NSW: MP welcomes inquiry into allegations of electoral fraud
SYDNEY, Nov 27 AAP - A NSW MP accused of committing electoral fraud
by setting up so-called
"front parties" using parliamentary resources today welcomed an investigation
into his
alleged affairs.
Outdoor Recreation Party MP Malcolm Jones was accused in parliament
in September of
using his staff to recruit members to parties he intended to register.
It is understood the Independent Commission Against Corruption
(ICAC) has launched
an investigation into the allegations and has made contact with at
least one potential
witness.
The matter was referred to the corruption watchdog by Greens MLC ...
