Estonian officials on Thursday inspected an aging oil tanker similar
in design to one that split in two, spilling its cargo in the Atlantic
Ocean last week.
The Byzantio carries the same kind of heavy fuel oil that spewed from
the Prestige before it sank in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of
northwestern Spain two weeks ago.
Environmental activists have warned that the Byzantio, which arrived
in the Port of Muuga late Wednesday night, has an ever spottier record
than the Prestige.
"It took our people four hours to inspect the ship," Tarmo Ots of
