The Mountain View Thunder are trying to make their football program
into a tradition.
Two years in a row in the state's final four certainly helps.
But tonight, Mountain View takes on one of the best traditions
in all of Washington.
The Kentwood Conquerors have plenty of history:
* They are the defending Class 4A state champions.
* Kentwood has reached the state semifinals four years in a row.
Tonight, the Conquerors take on Mountain View at the Tacoma Dome.
Kickoff is 7:30 p.m.
* If the Conquerors beat Mountain View, it will mark the fifth
time they've earned a trip to the state championship game. That would
tie a state record.
