Perhaps the most popular pill today here in the nation's capital is
Claritin. That's because our pollen count has gone through the ceiling,
not to mention up through the floorboards, in through the screens
and over the fence from the neighbor's oak tree. The Washington,
DC, pollen count today is more than 2,400. Normally 200 is considered
a high count.
The plethora of pollen has inflamed sinuses all up and down the East
Coast. The weather is part of the problem. We've had little rain
and unseasonably hot temperatures, and these pollen ...
