Fed: Kel Hutchence gravely ill after lung cancer operation

SYDNEY, Dec 11 AAP - The father of former INXS frontman Michael
Hutchence is gravely
ill in a Sydney hospital after undergoing a serious lung cancer operation,
the family
said today.
Family spokesman Rhett Hutchence said his father Kel had been suffering
from lung cancer
for two years.
He confirmed his father's ailing health in a statement issued to
AAP.
"Kelland Hutchence, 78, the father of the late lead singer for
INXS, Michael Hutchence,
has had a serious operation for lung cancer at St Vincent's Private
Hospital," the statement
