Dateline: THE HAGUE, Netherlands U.N. war crimes chief prosecutor Carla Del Ponte on Friday demanded the Yugoslav government hand over Serbian President Milan Milutinovic as soon as his five-year presidency expires in two weeks.

Underscoring a demand by the U.N. Security Council this week, Del Ponte again denounced the lack of cooperation from Yugoslavia in handing over documents and suspects.

Milutinovic, a close ally of former Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic, is wanted by the Hague tribunal for his alleged role in the atrocities committed during the 1998-1999 crackdown on ethnic Albanians in Kosovo.

He is named as a co-defendant on Milosevic's indictment. ...
