Handsets Vendors Chasing for High-end Market in Southern China
GUANGZHOU, Dec 30, 2002 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- China's domestic
handset vendors are preparing for next year's competition by continually
changing their distribution Channels. Guangzhou has become these vendors'
next target for its mature distribution channels. One side, these
vendors are placing big orders with supermarkets like Guomei, Suning
and China Digital, meanwhile, they are setting exclusive stores with
resellers in Southern China.
On December 20, Samsung settled its first exclusive store in Tianhecheng
Square in Guangzhou City called Samsung Digital Town of Southern China.
