The new Old Spaghetti Factory in east Vancouver promises to give
visitors not only a taste of Italian food, but of the old and new
in terms of the restaurant chain's design.
The restaurant, which opens Monday, trades in the traditional
industrial surroundings for more urban environs near the intersection
of 164th Avenue and Mill Plain Boulevard. The building offers a softer
exterior than the restaurant's signature eateries, which are often
in converted warehouses, and blends in with nearby neighborhoods and
strip malls.
It is the interior, however, that to any regular is unquestionably
