Aberdeen and Temair, Ishbel Maria Gordon, Marchioness of , ne Marjoribanks (b at London, Eng 15 Mar 1857; d at Aberdeen, Scot 18 Apr 1939). Married to the earl ofABERDEEN in 1877, she accompanied him to Ireland when he was lord lieutenant, and to Canada, where he was governor general 1893-98. Lady Aberdeen was deeply involved in the political crises involving the governor general from 1894 to 1896.
