Following a screening event held in conjunction with the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Florida State University was the named grand prize winner of a $10,000 grant in the Project Pioneer 2880 extreme DVD making competition.

Film students from major universities in the U.S. and Canada were enlisted to create DVD shorts in a mere 48 hours, finalizing scripts, scouting locations, casting actors, shooting, editing and burning the final version to DVD. Students pushed the limits of their creativity and ...
