This season is the one to make up for last, the one to erase the pain and frustration of a 3-19 record in Mountain Pacific Sports Federation play and an 11th place finish in the 12-team MPSF in 2002.

The Trojans went a disappointing 6-22 overall in what turned out to be one of the worst performances ever in the program's history. At one point, they lost eight consecutive matches. At another, they lost 11 straight -- winless in almost two months.
