This past spring, the federal government's weather forecasters predicted
a season of strong hurricanes, and the prediction came true. Instead
of the recent yearly average of two major hurricanes a season, we'
ve seen five. And Hurricane Lenny is stewing up to be another strong
storm headed for the Virgin Islands. Joining us is Jerry Jarrell.
He's director of the National Hurricane Center in Miami.
