Ford "Fiesta" Rolls off in Chongqing

CHONGQING, Jan 23, 2003 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- On January 17, Chang' an-Ford Motor held a solemn ceremony for its first new car, Ford " Fiesta", to leave the production line. Chang'an -Ford Motor is a joint venture between Chang'an Group, a famous motor group of China, and Ford.

According to the experts, this incident indicates that Chang'an Group and Ford have successfully established a motor R & D and production base in China. Meanwhile, Ford "Fiesta" will pose important impacts on China's market of economical motors.
