In an age of pop divas, Norah Jones avoids flashy videos, prefers
quiet neighborhood restaurants to celebrity hotspots and travels without
an entourage.
"The record industry has gotten so into image that image becomes more
important than the singer," Jones told the Los Angeles Times for Sunday'
s editions.
Jones, 23, has five nominations in leading categories at this year'
s Grammy Awards, including best new artist. Her debut album, "Come
Away With Me," is nominated for album of the year.
The Grammys will be presented Feb. 23 in New York City.
